Course Description:

Japanese History can be taken either for one semester or the entire year. The course,which is open to students in grades 11-12, will examine Japan's history and culture. The course follows a chronological order in the discussions about Japan. Particular attention is focused on Japan's relations with other countries. This course attempts to acquaint the students with Japan, their host country.

Prerequisites: 11th or 12th grade standing

Please note that this course will not be offered in the 2009/2010 school year.
